As you all know, I took Bianca into the doctor the other day because she had been under the weather and not herself.. complaining of stomach pains..not eatting and sleeping a lot more then normal. Well.. at 8 pm on Tues night we got a phone call from Bianca's doctor. The doctor was on the other line. He said he had gotten the results back and couldn't wait till morning to tell us. Bianca has
LYMES.. her levels were really elevated.. and she has a pretty nasty case of it. No wonder she has been so cranky and just sore.. and sleepy. He wanted her to start meds tonight.. so my mom went and picked them up for us.... since Ray was his late-night softball game and Kai was already in bed...


Bianca is VERY allergic to penicillian which they normally give for it.. so doctor is trying something different. We do not know if it is gonna work or not.. but we are keeping out fingers crossed... and praying our hardest it works.. *sigh*.. she is on it for 10 days.. and even then.. he told us.. the lymes could come back.. twice as worse.. lymes is an ongoing battle..


if the medcine does not work.. she will be put in the hospital... and put on IV medication and be closely monitored..


Keep us in your prayers and your thoughts please.. as of now, the medication seems to be working, but causing her to get a slight rash and itch.. but she is getting some engery back.. and is finally starting to eat again.. so that is a good sign. Best of all.. she is actually taking the medicine like a good girl.. and not spitting it out. Maybe because the pharmist was so nice and flavored it like a strawberry milkshake for Bianca free of charge ! Helps to know people....

I do not even know where to start with the last week. I have been beyond busy.. and just plain going crazy. Things around here have been bonkers.. and I am trying not to get too stressed out.. but I am seriously at my BREAKING POINT!

My birthday went well... I had a pretty darn good day. My sister took me and the kiddos out for lunch at my favorite restarant. We went and had lunch at PIGGY'S soup and salad buffet. I had called ahead of time to get us reservations... so we were seated right away. It was really nice.. and we filled our tummys full of yummy salads and soups. The kiddos seemed to really enjoy it too. Which was nice. Both of them ate quite well.

That night Ray grilled out SESAME GINGER FLANK STEAKS.. on the grill.. and we made baked potatos.. loaded with cheese, bacon and sour cream! I had such a craving for a baked potato it really hit the spot! As a special surprise, Ray had purchased corn on the cob. Nothing beats the first ears of corn of the season. It was so sweet and juciey! Bianca really really LOVED it. She was in complete heaven. She ate 3 ears all by herself. It was a great dinner.. and such awesome
food.. much better then going out. For desert, Ray bought me a CULVERS.. ICECREAM CAKE!!! .. mmm turtle cake.. it was soo awesome. Vanilla custard icecream.. roasted peacans.. chocolate chunks.. and carmel... mmmm good.. So awesome!

This past weekend was full of fun and excitement. But I believe one of the most rememberable days of the weekend was Friday.

Ray worked summer hours all week and got off early on Friday afternoon. It was the perfect day after a few days of rain.. and the kids were restless from being locked inside for most of the week.. so we decided to have a special day with them and take them outside to play. It was my idea to take them to the park, since we hadn't done that as a family in quite some time.. and it would be great for the kids to run about and get some of that engery out.

We went to Copland park.. which to our surprise wasn't very packed at all. The kids ran about and had a blast. Kman loved the slides. He went up and down them about 100 times! He also loved playing the chase me if you can game.. and had mommy running after him all about the park. Bianca perfered the swings.. and swang as high as a bird.. making daddy push her for most of the afternoon! Kai too had his go at the swings.. and got a few under-dogs from daddy.. which he found just beyond fun. Both kids were laughing and having such a great time.

We stayed at the park for a good couple of hours.. till Kai had a major blow-out! The whole family had the stomach flu that week.. and I guess Kai wasn't totally over his.. he blew big time.. all the way threw his shorts and down his legs. We had to leave the park right then and there. ...Which made two little kids.. VERY UNHAPPY but we had no other chocie.. Kman needed to be changed.. and needed a new set of shorts badly!
