The domain was purchased for me at yahoo domains in June of 2007 by two of my close online friends, Ashley and Amanada . I had been wanting to start a domain for quite awhile and I was very surprised when my friends told me they had got one for me!
I soon started finding a good host and in early July of 2007 I found Fort Onion.com and purchased hosting for my site at a reasonable price!

The name? it actually has a lot of meaning behind it. A few years back I wrote a poem about my first date with my husband called "In the Rainy Mist of Tears" and my first domain was actually intherainymistoftears.com I soon then started blogging at blogger, LJ and GJ and I decided to shorten the name. And tearsmist was born.
