We had just a busy weekend. Sat night was the annual MOTHER-DAUGHTER BANQUET at my grandmothers church. I went along with my mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousins (alicia and Amanda) and my cousin's little girls.. and of course MISS BIANCA . Ray stayed home and watched Kai. They had MALE BONDING NIGHT.. .

Binks had a blast getting all dressed up pretty. It was such beautuiful weather.. we got to wear dresses and skirts. My mother picked us up a little after 5 PM and we headed to my grandmothers church where we met up with my grandmother who was saving spots for all of us. The men at the church wait on the woman hand and foot and the banquet. It is really nice. They served us this HUGE MEAL of Grilled Turkey , mashed potatos, green bean casserole, cranberries, veggies and man made deserts.. mmm good! It was sooo good! Bianca went to town on the green beans (she loves her veggies) .. and seriously ate like 4 helpings! The mashed potatos and gravy were my favorite by far. .. it was an awesome meal! the men even clean up afterwards.. and do all the dishes!!! So the women just sit back and enjoy!

After the meal.. every year there is a theme for the night and the men put on this hour long show using the theme. This years theme was THE RAIL ROAD and they did little cute skits and songs dealing with the rail road. It was such a hit.. They even invited the little kids to come up and sit in front to see better. Bianca got a kick out of that..

I been so crazy busy, it is nuts! I kinda like it though, never a dull moment! I been selling a lot more bows lately which is awesome income for me! I could use the extra pocket cash!

I had an OB apt today. The good news is MY IRON IS UP! It is not as low as it has been, THANK GOD! . Although it is still lower then they would like.. and I have to keep up the iron rich food diet.. and taking my nasty iron pills. . Also, my weight is right on. I am a little under where she would like me to be, but my weight gain is slowly climbing and that is all that really matters. Baby seems to be growing too! She has dropped a little bit.. and is laying lower in my stomach now. I am messuring at 30 weeks exactly .. which is about a week and a few days ahead of my original due date. The doctor is closing her clinic so she can do my c-section on JULY 14TH, 2008 Which is still later then I would like.. but better then she was planning before. I am just praying I do not go into labor before that.. as the thought of another emgerancy c-section still scares the living crap out of me! . The doctor mentioned though that in my last weeks she will see me almost weekly so if I am dialating or seem to be in a lot of pursure.. she will do the section earlier.. She doesn't want me dialating past a 3.. in fears of a fast labor. So that is good news.

My baby boy is 2 years old today! I can not believe how quickly time has flown by. It seems like only yesterday he was my teeny tiny baby. I still remember being pregnant with him for Gosh sakes.. and now he is 2 YEARS OLD!!! he has grown up so much before my eyes. Just in the last month I have noticed a huge growth spurt in him. His speech is slowly improving and he is learning new words daily. He is potty training well.. and starting to do more stuff on his own. He is smarter then a whip.. and such a LOVING LITTLE BOY . Everyone always comments on how well mannered and well behaved he is (most of the time).. and how sweet he is. I really lucked out with Kai.

We threw a HUGE BIRTHDAY BASH for Kai yesterday at our place. We spent a lot of time over the week making our place look presentable.. and yesterday afternoon we had loads of family and friends over to help us celebrate Kai turning two years old! . It was suppose to be such a sh*tty day out.. but it ended up being beyond beautiful! The sun was shining.. and it was cool enough.. that people did not get over heated.. yet warm enough to go without coats.. just perfect. We set up tables inside and also had lawn-chairs outside for people to sit on.. and toys for the kids to play with. People sat outside and chit-chatted or sat indoors.. and the kids ran about .. doing as they pleased. It was a perfect day! The party could not have gone smoother! We allowed Kman to choose what he wanted for lunch.. and he choose burgers.. so we grilled out. Ray grilled loads of burgers and hot dogs on the grill.. and I made pasta salad, a mango, strawberry and pine-apple fruit salad (with bananas and grapes too1).. mmm .. and we had taco dip.. and chips.. and a trail mix with MnM's and other goodies. It was just awesome! and everyone loved Kai's CAR CAKE.. we got from Walmart.. it was sooo good..

Things have been soo busy in my neck of the woods. The last few days have been beyond beautiful outside! Mr. Sunshine has finally showed his face! and we been spending a lot of time outdoors.

We also been preparing for Kai's birthday bash .. which is coming up this coming Sunday! a lot of planning has been going into that to make it perfect for him! I still can not believe it.. KAI IS GONNA BE TWO NEXT MONDAY!!! where has time gone?

My grandmother's birthday is today! We had a big family celebration yesterday morning at OLD COUNTRY BUFFET with the whole family. Grandma turned 75 this year! Ray and I made this cute little coupon on the computer good for one free meal at the restarant of her chocie as a gift this year for her birthday, because I did not know what else to get her.. and she never gets out.. cause Grandpa is not a fan of going out to eat.. and grandma loves to. So I am sure it will go to good use. I think she thought it was really cute. Bianca herself made grandma a card too. She drew little B's all over it. She is getting sooo good at making her letters now! I am soo proud of her!
